The Controller as defined in Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 May 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) hereby provides the Data Subject with the following information:

Instructions on the protection of personal data:

Depending on your needs, your personal data may be provided in the scope necessary to third parties, for instance district offices, lawyers, notaries, experts, and financial brokers.

Such data shall be stored for the periods required under legislation or necessary to apply the corresponding entitlements.

You have the right to opt out of the processing of your personal data. Opting out means that the Controller may not continue to process your personal data unless it demonstrates immediate and legitimate reasons for such processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or grounds for proving, applying or defending legal claims.

You also have the right:

  1. to access information on the scope in which your personal data is processed,
  2. to request correction of your personal data if you determine that the data is incorrect or to request the amendment of incomplete data,
  3. to obtain the personal data provided to the Controller in a commonly used electronic form and to transfer them to another entity, but only if processed by the Controller using automated means,
  4. to request limitations on the processing by the Controller if you also call into question the accuracy of your personal data or if processing is illegal or no longer necessary for the Controller, but you need them to apply your claims,
  5. to request deletion of your personal data if they are not necessary for the purposes for which they were obtained or processes, if processing is illegal or if they must be deleted to fulfil statutory obligations,
  6. to file a complaint with the supervising authority if you believe that your rights concerning personal data have been violated.

The supervising authority is the Office of Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.

Neither automated decision making, nor profiling are used in the processing of your personal data. Personal data shall not be transmitted to any country outside of the European Union.

Based on the legitimate interests of the Controller, your contact details may be processed by the Controller for direct marketing purposes. You may object to such processing at any time, which means that your personal data can no longer be processed for such purposes.

These Principles of Personal Data Protection are valid and enters into force on 25 May 2018.
